Bags designed for the disposal of infectious healthcare waste (DASRI). These easily identifiable bags are intended for soft medical waste such as used surgical drapes, soiled gauze and dressings, disposable medical clothing, etc. Sharp or puncture-resistant waste must be disposed of in dedicated sharps containers.

These bags help reduce the risk of contamination for healthcare professionals and cleaning staff during the handling and disposal of medical waste. They may also be used by certain patients receiving self-administered treatment.
